Dial *#06# on your phone
An EID listed next to your IMEI? Your phone supports eSIM. No EID means SIM-only — but any eSIM-ready device activates an LL-DC plan in under a minute.
Device compatibility
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. No plastic. No swap. Most phones since 2018 support it — LL-DC installs on your phone in seconds, with QR or manual setup as alternatives. Confirm your device below.

Don't see your model? Run *#06# above — an EID means you're good. For brand-new devices not yet listed, support confirms in minutes.
Twenty seconds, four paths. Each one leads to an eSIM option that only appears on supported devices.
Settings → General → About → scroll to Digital SIM (EID). If an EID is shown, your iPhone supports eSIM.
Settings → Connections → SIM manager. If an “Add eSIM” option appears, eSIM is supported on your device.
Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → “Download a SIM instead?” — this option only appears on eSIM-capable Pixels.
Open Settings and search for “eSIM”, “SIM manager”, or “Mobile network”. Any option that lets you download or add a SIM digitally confirms eSIM support.
Coverage, activation, dual-SIM, region locks — every common eSIM question, in one place.
